These plants have a remarkable growth rate, quickly adding an inch of new growth each day, even though they may not appear as early in the spring as other perennials. Planting Tips for Hibiscus:
- Choose a location with well-draining soil and ample sunlight for optimal growth and blooming.
- Dig a hole twice the width of the plant's root ball and ensure the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface when planting.
- Space multiple Luna Hibiscus Rose plants approximately 2 to 3 feet apart to allow for proper air circulation and growth.
Watering Hibiscus:
- Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during the plant's active growth period.
- Water deeply and thoroughly, ensuring the water reaches the plant's root zone.
- Avoid overhead watering to prevent fungal diseases; instead, use a soaker hose or drip irrigation system.
- Use our Moisture Maxx non-ionic wetting agent in periods of drought.
Mulching Hibiscus:
