For great Christmas red flowers this fall, look no further than Yuletide Sasanqua. This evergreen large shrub blooms from late fall to Christmas. We sell this in 7 gallon size plant containers and are usually 24 to 28" inches tall.
Sasanqua camellia are great in the landscape as a specimen accent plant or can be planted in mass as a screen hedge. They even work great as a container plant on a deck or patio.
They do well in well drained soil and can take both sun or shade, and have very few disease or pests to worry about. They are even not a favorite of deer usually. The growth rate is fairly slow and need moderate pruning.
The flowers are great for indoor arrangements and are heavy bloomers each fall. The are fairly code hardy up to zone 7.
